トンマーゾ・ファラスキーニは今年も日本に戻ってきます。今回は私が一人レジデンスと称して住みはじめた長崎県東彼杵郡の波佐見町で共同制作します。有田という日本陶磁器発祥地と縁のあるこの地で、私たちは陶芸に焦点を当てた立体作品を制作します。また、カッラーラ美術学院時代の友人であり、現在マドリードのエスクエラ・デ・アルテ・ラ・パルマの教授を務めるプラチド・ボンニンも参加します。
Tommaso Faraschini will return to Japan again this year. This time, we will be collaborating in the town of Hasami, in Higashisonogi District, Nagasaki Prefecture, where I have started living in what I call a solitary residency. In this place connected to Arita, the birthplace of Japanese ceramics, we will create three-dimensional works focusing on ceramics. Placido.r.Bonnin , a friend from our time at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara and now a professor at the Escuela de Arte La Palma in Madrid, will also be joining us.
